P.J. Sharman Smith

A bit partial to a good Nighy film and this certainly did NOT disappoint. Well acted and good storyline.

Exhausting romp through the lives of a disjointed family.... father's an at times emotionally lacking drug taking psychiatrist whose wife is battling depression and low self-esteem whilst trying to cope with the fact their terminally ill 15 year old daughter has befriended and fallen in love with a dejected drug dealing junkie who can't stop breaking into everybody's houses to get drugs, food or find a place to sleep. I like Australian films in general but when they try to distance the majority of an audience with a base of bases theme and storyline they really make it an uncomfortable 90 mins or so of viewing. Yeah, nah, yeah, nah.
