Breaking bad has a lot of depth rather than just some super heroes defeating the bad guys again and again. It shows the true human nature and what it looks like for someone to be pushed to their limits and become what they were made to be. Walter was a bad man pretending to be good. Jesse was a good man pretending to be bad.
