I feel I could write a 200-page essay on just how stupid some of the plots in this film are.
From the fact that a giant space-faring military has to pick on a tiny backwater farming village (who have turned their back on technology but still have automatic doors on their medieval-style homes.) for food, only to find out late there are cities and towns. Have they no logistics? Why pick on a village of what 50 people for food when they could just go to a town and get supplies from there?
Then there is the end where a man with a broken metal rod jumps into a giant spaceships cockpit and stabs through it's window to kill a pilot. What spacefaring vessel is going to have what looked like a car window screen for protection?
