I saw this on game pass, and thought "why not?". I'm 30 years old, and love a good adventure game. Immortals Fenyx Rising is everything I would have hoped. The world/animation is beautiful to look at, and you can move seamlessly throughout the game. Controls are tight, and movement is responsive. It has a satisfying skill/equipment tree and the progression feels natural and good. The Greek mythology is an added bonus to an already great game. Learning some of the names and stories as I played was really cool. The dialogue and acting is deliberately a little cheesy and on the nose, but it keeps the game light and fun. There are 5 difficulty settings, so you can play how you want. I've played through twice now, and thorougly enjoyed both playthroughs. The combat is fun and fast. Challenging at times, and the progression of difficulty is great. and they REWARD YOUR EXPLORATION. there are SO many places to search and find in this game, go find them! the puzzles range from mildly difficult, to super easy. All in All, it's a great play, and I highly recommend if you enjoy a good adventure. added bonus, for those of us with busy lives, you can pause the game at ANY Time, even the cutscenes. oh and shout out to Gareth Coker for some of the best Game music in recent years. The soundtrack of this game is absolutely one you will love and remember. Impactful, meaningful, and emotional music that helps drive the game. SO good. HIGHLy reccomend Immortals Fenyx Rising.
