I never write reviews but I think this one deserves one! Forrest Gump is one of my favourite movies, I was curious to see how they would adapt it to Indian cinema. There are such historic iconic events in Forrest Gump, and to mimic that to the Indian scenario is a tough task but was done beautifully and very smartly in this film. It wasn’t overdone nor too bad, it was a superb remake - slightly with the Indian touch which was needed 100%. Kinda sad this didn’t take off well but I hope this movie picks up and gets the credit it deserves. There’s a big talk about Indian cinema saying they don’t take risks with bollywood -but when they do they get shat on. Well this is one perfect example.
