Movie was ok. It falls significantly short compared to the other Thor franchise movies. The beginning started with a good plot but then it started to go all over from there.
The main character holding the movie up was Gorr and was surprised it was Christian Bale. Solid portrayal of the character hoping this character would kick some bumbling god character butt for a twist.
There was a bit of a Marvel string along pulling in the Guardians and then bringing in Zeus. Again, was surprised it was played by Russell Crowe. Russell had a funny part with a Russian accent. Natalie Portman as Mighty Thor was good though it seemed like trying to put a piece of the broken hammer in the wrong place. Made no sense although the intent was to bring back the lost love interest.
The humor was nice at certain points but the only memorable parts were Matt Damon in the make believe play and Russell Crowe in his role. Chris Hemsworth had some nice one liners. The end was rushed after about an hour, which was predictable but appreciated as the script was dragging on.
The entire Eternity entity was odd but Marvel seems to be getting all its characters into the multiverse theme. It’s too complicated. Dr Strange was the same. Spider-Man multiverse was much better.
A good home theater movie rather than spending at the theater.
