immaculate. the work of a deeply thoughtful, highly intelligent, honest contemporary artist that explores the kind of nagging everyday sorrow we all like to ignore but can eventually be devoured by. features rapping and singing, lyrics in both English and Korean, and three featured artists (one for production, one instrumentalist, and one vocalist). lyrics are raw, beautiful, and feature clever turns of phrase typical of RM's rhymes. the instrumentals are absolutely to die for: production is simultaneously subtle and lush, with music created using a combination of synths and acoustic instruments. the mellow "moonchild" beat features an orchestral sample that makes the hook soar, and the electric guitar on "forever rain" is... to me, it's unforgettable. just listen to it, man. just listen.
