Any negative reviews you find about this movie are by people who either, 1. Expect a comedy out of will Ferrell and don’t see the bigger picture or 2. Haven’t experienced living in a hopeless world of their own. This movie goes in depth about a man struggling with his own demons and whose life comes to a rock bottom. There are a ton of people in the world who are struggling in the same way as Ferrell’s character and this movie helps show the bright side of tunnel. Don’t watch this expecting to laugh even though there are some funny moments in it. If you yourself are struggling and feel hopeless in your own life then give this movie a watch and see if it benefits you in the way that it did with me. Not an Oscar winning film but definitely something that is relatable to a fairly large crowd and can be a type of therapeutic film to some of you out there.
