While I know this might stir some debate, I actually found it more engaging than *Alita*. Do I wish the characters had more depth? Absolutely, but developing that kind of connection typically requires the extended storytelling that a series offers. I envision a future where the robots we create have a more cartoonish aesthetic—think cute and friendly, rather than striving for an unsettlingly human appearance. In this way, the film could provide insight into the potential directions we might take in designing autonomous robots.
