This series reminds me of a previous show "Longmire". It was a popular series and this one is actually better. Shows real life on the streets and what our men in law enforcement deal with in their personal lives too. Hope it continues. Stephen Dorff makes you think that he's really a Sheriff and a cowboy. Very action packed. This series brings all genres together with different situations and family situation that you hear in the news daily. It's not totally about law enforcement but about families that are affected by crimes, it follows people's lives and gives what happens to them. It's not your everyday cop movie - more personal. If the viewers watch a couple of the shows - they'll be hooked. The Deputy is exciting but not in a violent way. It has family situations that makes you think "What would I do in this situation?". If you are an older generation - days of the "old" movies - you should give this show a look. There's action, compassion, drama and love for family and friends. GREAT SERIES and casting. The Characters are well suited to their roles. Hoping for next years series. It's kinda like chips you can't eat just one.
