This is an excellent comedy, where the humor is intelligent and not obvious, which takes some thinking to enjoy. It’s a refreshing change from far too many of the comedies that we are shown today.

La Dolce Villa is a predictable “ Christmas movie type “ story that starred one of my favorite actors from The Unit, Scott Foley. That’s what made it great. It was a feel good movie in a beautiful setting. And there is nothing wrong with that. When we are living in a time period that’s been filled with negatives, in my opinion it’s nice to see a movie that allows you to escape, without any underlying messages.
