(Updated. Put it on eBay and then thought I’d try to finish it before it sold. The game is excellent, I was mistaken. Will add something at the end when I finish it but this is the 3 star review I left at the halfway point)... I didn’t believe the horrific reviews.... The first 13 hours are brilliant. The revenge theme and playing as Ellie, loved the female centric plot and then the switch happened and I’m now in a lecture about morality and why revenge is bad. It was such a great story until you start playing as Abby. After a few minutes of experiencing such a silly storyline I couldn’t continue due to sheer boredom. Amazing how they just decided to destroy the whole flow of the narrative half way through. Wish I didn’t buy it, despite it being a great first act.
