Son of a Preacher Man is a truly beautiful book, I can’t recommend it enough. Between Matthew’s own fascinating travels & childhood, to the incredibly moving stories of those he met along the way, I could not put it down. It’s a balance of storytelling, personal memoir, and a deeply insightful introspection into how to connect to our spirituality in the modern world. The pages are brimming with wisdom, kindness and hope. Religious or not, I think everyone should read this book- it’s a vulnerable, cautionary, and heartwarming reminder that no matter where we come from and what we believe, we’re all searching for the same love and faith.
