Every action scene was way too long -- the submarine, the cave in S Africa, the planes at the end. I kept feeling like, "Alright, already! Let's wrap this up! We get it!" Also, watching 62-year-old Tom Cruise get beaten up doing his stunts - ouch! It was about endurance - of the audience! This film was darker and less fun than other MI films. I felt like leaving midway through but stayed because I was seeing it with a friend.
