I read this book in English literature and it is still one I remember vividly 15 years later! It really gets you thinking about human nature, and what a world without rules and orders would be like. Golding uses the characters to depict a microcosm of our society, in his view of what we could become without laws.
I recommend reading this book! A classic so many years later.
