Watched the first one and was intrigued. Watched Dune 2 and was emersed in the story from the start. The actors were great and well chosen and told the story well. Am a Star Wars fan so the sci-fi scenes of ships, various moons and Planet cultures hit the spot. Well worth the effort of sitting for three hours at the cinema. Really enjoyed it, had me on the edge of my seat at times! Now just have to wait for a part 3....
