Very rushed. Det. Anderson was supposed to be a bigger guy, not a skinny little guy. His son is not dead either, he is at summer camp. Frankie Petersons mother was overweight which was a big part of her heart attack. She also did not go around with a bat. She threw food around the kitchen and dumped a casserole over her head before dropping. The DA's name was Bill Samuels not kenneth whatever, and he was a bit younger in the book than he is in the series. The conference was for a specific author and he went with 3 other people, not 2.
Why make a series based on a book and change half the story? The book was obviously pretty good (actually I read it and it was absolutely fantastic), that's why they made a tv series after it right? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. So far I am very let down and it's only been 1 episode. Who's job is it to screw things up like that?
