This is Alia Bhatt's first time as a producer; honestly, she has exceeded all the expectations as a first-time producer. Her acting as naive Badru really melts hearts and it is genuinely a 'dark comedy.'The progression of her character and even the minute details played really well. She easily portrayed the image of the girl next door. Vijay Varma did justice to the role of Hamza. Shefali Shah again amazed us with her acting chops playing an overprotective mother to Badru. The side characters especially Zulfi were the cherry on top. The adaption of the accent was amazing. This film portrays a good message and is a must-watch. All in one word- STELLAR.
