Disappointing doesn’t cover it. I’m still reeling from the fact this was directed by Ridley Scott, one of my favourite film directors. I would not recommend this film. Ham acting by some main players, disjointed and in my opinion was let down by a poor scriot.

Fabulous film. Realistic, authentic, amusing, touching and great performances from all. Highly recommended.

Quite simply,I switched it off, twice! Slow and uninteresting plot and characters! Dull doesn’t do it justice. Maybe it’s just me because I did not enjoy The Piano either. That said, I would not recommend this film and do not think it worthy of any Oscar nominations. Belfast, hopefully will scoop the lot. Brilliant film.
