I do understand some of the hate, but letโs be honestโฆ the second age story of the fall of Numenor would not make a great story to tell on a movie screen. I really appreciate this adaptation for what it is, even though I think they made some choices that were unnecessary. But, it did not break my enjoyment of the show at all.
I would rather be able to see Tolkien adaptations on the screen than none at all.
