I usually enjoy a Tyler P production. This one? Not so much. I could say a lot but who wrote this? Case in point. There is a missing child in this series. After about 5 minutes no one appears to be terribly concerned. I mean, a missing kid?! The world goes nuts over a stolen child until they are found dead or alive. In this mess only the Daddy is crazy over it but his juvi-delinq-coinkidink-high-jinx side mess is just doin’ too much. The story line, the vibe, the White House scenarios are simply not West Wing viable. The acting is not acting. Too many characters are over-the-top but not in a J.R. Ewing skeevie villain kinda way. They are outrageous in a goofy way. The First Family & the not so secretly inept Secret Service are particularly goofy. Sometimes, I watch a movie or series because it is so bad it makes me laugh. The Oval is that. Sorry, Tyler. I’m sure the next one will be better-ish.
