I’ve been a big fan of much of De Niro’s work so I was expecting more. The storyline felt oversimplified, the characters almost silly at times and the relationship between Frank and Vito completely under developed and just nothing there not one scene to convince the viewer that they were once such good friends other than Frank continuously telling us. Oh and De Niro playing both roles just didn't do it for me. But the worst thing was that some scenes felt like cheap ripoffs of classic scenes from Goodfellas which of course was an all-time great and in which De Niro was at the top of his game. This one was not for me.
