Phenomenal slice of Americana. Perfect recipe for the most realistic modern dysfunctional family. Including the Judaic guilt-tripping, domestic violence (more psychological than physical), broken marriage, mixed race, as well LBGQ relationships. Candice Bergen's prickly, insidious character is beyond believable. Most hated character in a movie in a very long time. She played it so well. I hope she wins best supporting actress. Made me cry thinking about the household I ran away from as a young man myself.
