Graham is without doubt a very skilled host and usually handles "difficult" guests very well. However on last night's show 10/1/20 he allowed Miriam Margolyes to be downright offensive. Just because she is a well know actress in her 70s with a reputation for a "potty mouth" doesn't mean she should be allowed to make sexist and sexually offensive comments which would be frowned upon if made by a man of her age especially given the #metoo movement. Also, referring to one of the other guest's marital status and bisexuality as "interesting" as if he was some sort of sideshow is not acceptable. People's sexual orientation is not anyone else's business in the 2020s, certainly not material to be discussed in the public domain of a chat show unless the person being discussed has given permission. Graham should have corrected her about this. Allowing a guest to say provocative things just to get a reaction and to bring the attention back to herself, as Margolyes seems to think is acceptable, cheapens the show. Graham, take back control, and don't lower your standards of what is really funny.
