I will start off by saying that my perspective comes from someone who has never seen or heard of the original manga or source material. As a first time viewer I can say that I enjoyed the movie. If you like action sci-fi films and you watch movies for enjoyment and not as a film critic, than I would agree with some of the comments here that you should ignore the snobby comments. I personally found nothing wrong with the wardrobe and actually quite enjoyed the costumes. After reading up on the background of the Knights of the Zodiac and the cliffhanger left by the movie, I would say I would watch a part 2 of this movie as I was very intrigued by the lore. I can agree that character development lacked some depth but again it’s an action sci-fi so I was happy with the fighting and visual effects for the most part. Of course this was not a high budget movie but I was pleasantly surprised with the visual effects as I’ve seen much worse in more recent movies as of 2024 which is saying something. Overall , if you are looking for a fun movie to watch I would come with an open mind and give it a shot. Even if you’ve read the manga and you aren’t an overly critical person (if those exist) I think you can find this movie entertaining.
