Honestly what was this book? Fr I mean what did I just read? There is no point to this book man. This was my first Murakami's book and ig the last one. The book kept building the plot till the 2nd last chapter, and I felt that the dots will connect and it will all make sense at the end. But bro all the questions that I had are left unanswered, there is no point to this book, I wasted my time. Legit every question I had was left unanswered and then I got to know that this is how Murakami's writings are. I would like to suggest to not read this book if you want a complete healthy closure to a book. Ofc I don't expect a happy ending but atleast for God's sake it should have ended. It was left on some turn, like the rest of the chapters were just fallen from the book. So it can get frustrating for people who are maybe new to murakami's writings. Why is it unanswered bro , you don't get to know what actually happened, the main things were left unanswered, like if he ended with Sara or not, who was the guy with Sara that night, who murdered Shiro, was she died at the end, did Sara and tsukuru atleast meet, Why Shiro did such thing like blaming tusukru about rape, was Shiro mentally unstable, what about their friendships, also most imp when he got those dreams who was standing there , why was he getting those dreams, what was the point of haida's dads story, where did haida go, what did haida's dad kept on the piano, nothing was closed all these questions were left.
