My favorite movie is “Life is Beautiful.” This movie made me laugh and cry. It helped me express different emotions like sadness, hope, and happiness. This movie talked about the attacks from the Germans on the Jews. This isn’t just a movie anymore; this is a movie that taught me some lessons in life. The main characters are Guido, Dora, and Giosue. Guido is characterized as having a positive attitude in adversity, achieving his goals no matter what others think of him, and having a fun personality. “Life is beautiful” is a comedy drama. Guido met Dora and he fell in love of her which is a woman of a high status and who had plan of marrying a rich man. However, the personality of Guido and his fun form of conquest Dora impacted heart her. The first lesson that I can learn is that if I have a positive attitude, I can achieve all my goals regardless of the obstacles. An interesting part to me was when Guido pretends to be someone to be near Dora and he did many strange things to attract attention her. This movie helped me meditate about myself and how many times I do not do some things because of fear of what people could say to me. I love the phrase “life only there is one” so if I want to achieve something I need to put my effort and live like Guido. Another lesson I learned from the movie is to bring love to my loved ones and people around me. This movie also talked about the Second World War. Guido and Dora were married, and they had a child named Giosue. They were happy and had a beautiful family even though Dora’s family wouldn’t accept Guido. Six years after the Second World War the Germans attacked the Jews. Guido and his child were jews. Consequently, all jews were carried to a concentration camp and given hard work, and children would disappear. Although Dora is not Jew. I loved her attitude because she also demanded to get on the train to stay with her family. This shows the love of a mother and a wife to her family. However, when they arrive at the field, the men and women are separated. In addition, Guido was an excellent protective father for his child. He tried to hide the terrible situation they were living in the concentration camp protecting his son. Guido made his son believe that they were playing a game and that he needed to get points to take home an armored tank. Guido is a character with bravery and support to their family. Guido didn't want his child to know what was happening. This is a movie perfect for Father’s Day because it shows them that the love of a father is able to do to protect his family and children. Additionally, this movie helped me reflect on the word “love” and its meaning, when we love someone, we can do crazy things by love. Also, Love helps us achieve our goals, love helps to have motivation in life, love is the purest thing that exists and that it doesn’t have a price. Finally, the lesson I learned is that to achieve our goals, we need to pay the price. Guido gives his life to his family to save his child from the horror they were living during the war. I recommended this movie because it talked about the real story of life. This movie taught life was not easy, the valor of a positive attitude during hard moments in life, and all our decisions have an important impact in our life. Life is beautiful for me is the best movie.
