One Assassination Under God - Chapter 1 - may very well be one of the greatest comebacks of this century. It is nothing short of amazing, with not a single track that you'd want to skip. Manson hasn't been so delicate with his lyric writing in a while, only coming close in his 2020's We Are Chaos. His vocal work is also certainly of notice, especially on tracks such as As Sick As The Secrets Within, Sacrifice of the Mass and Death Is Not A Costume, the last of which is easily among my favorites from his entire discography. With that, we are left with an extremely pleasing piece of music for us to enjoy in our anticipation for Chapter 2, which we will hopefully see sometime in 2025. Until then, we should rejoice, for our antichrist is back.
