Pixel Ripped 1989,Is this the greatest game I've played probally not,but the most immersive then yes, being VR natraully that would be easier than any non VR game but having to complete a 2D side scrolling style game on a gameboy style device while avoiding a teachers gaze in the classroom as a year 7 in the 80s was a diffrent experience and is one of the many stages that took me out of reality and made me forget i was wearing an actual headset in pixel ripped 1989.A game inside a game, I got through the stage without being seen by the teacher when she looked away to draw on the chalkboard this was my opportunity to look down underneath my school desk and carry on playing the side scrolling game, the teacher who would of confiscated the device if I would of been seen resulting in a swift over.because I'd been playing this gameboy handheld within the game I actually forgot I was in VR playing a game. that moment that reminded me of reality and I was in VR where the words "level complete" across the screen was brilliant and there's more examples one mission I'm put to bed but have to play this super nintendo device and not make to much noise incase my mum comes in my room and turns it off, theres a level based in an 80s arcade blockbuster video store with mini games too complete. The moment of forgetting I was at home playing VR stayed with me and was so strong it prompted me to do a Google review on the experience it was so strong a memory, please play it,buy it,or try its Available on psvr1 and 2 and occulus rift there's also a sequel called pixel ripped 1995 based on 32bit consoles like the ps1,that's just as great or even better.
