After watching Barbie and being disappointed by what I just watched, I came into Oppenheimer with low expectations. I am glad to say I wasn't disappointed. The movie overall was great; great acting, great story. I will, however, say that the beginning was very jarring and felt messy. Some scenes in the movie led you to believe something else but in the end those moments didn't even matter. Although overall I thoroughly enjoyed it. The first representation of Einstein was spot on, and the simplified explanation of physics and chemistry was great. Many aspects of the movie were accurate to science which I really appreciate. For people looking to watch a fun movie, I wouldn't recommend this one. This type of movie wouldn't suit everyone so unless you're knowledgeable with history (maybe even with chemistry and physics), you might not enjoy it as much.
