I've not read the book, but this movie portrayed just the perfect romance movie I've always dream of! It's so dreamy yet raw, romantic and laughable that makes the movie light-hearted with depth. Above all, it is timeless. I'm a hopeless romantic and this is IT! I'm aware of the negative reviews are dissatisfied with how the Anne is modernized and how she's more immature in the movie. Though I really love 'Persuasion' the movie for the way it is, mostly because how relatable the female lead is. But from what was mentioned regarding Anne's character in the book, I'm also come to curious of the book. A great romantic comedy movie in a long time I'd say. I totally recommend it! And love the music at the ending by Birdy. Do recommend me more movies like this one!
