I decided to look at the reviews to see if the book was satire. The writer displays desperate attempts to discredit Meghan as a phony while somehow Meghan's good qualities still seem to shine through as an intelligent and talented perfectionist. The narrations of Meghans experiences only serve to humanise her in the eyes of the reader. The writer fails to explain how ambition is a flaw of character or where lies the impertinence in wanting to ensure your guests are served quality food at your wedding or that the venue smells good. If anything it projects the writers' regressive and unforgiving mindset that will deny a person the right to be simply human; unwarranted prying and baseless insinuations regarding Doria that simply don't fit.
