What a fantastic book.... "Godan" by Munshi Premchand is a masterpiece of Indian literature that has stood the test of time, captivating readers for generations. This novel takes us on a journey through the trials and tribulations of the rural Indian heartland, portraying the lives of farmers in vivid detail. As I started reading this book wanted to finish as soon as possible because their characters were so interesting like- hori, dhaniya, gobar etc. On other side Dr Malti and Mr Mehta's love story was nicely presented.
