Honestly, I tried to come into this movie with excitement and was quickly let down. I don't get how various other reviews call this movie "epic" of all things cause while the movie looks pretty gorgeous, the writing and acting are absolutely atrocious. While there are a lot of elements borrowed from other sci fi films, rebel moon falls flat on its face with confusing writing and to be frank it failed to keep my attention just 35-45 minutes in. The main character is poorly written as well. I might try to give this movie another chance in the near future but for now this just ain't it.
