Inspiring Film! Loved it and got to learn a very precious thing "Never Give Up"!

This is one of the best sports movies I have watched till now. Ajay Sir's acting was perfect and emotional. The cinematography was top notch and the BGM was very intense especially in the final 30-45 minutes. The film covers almost all the human emotions in the 2nd half. I am a cricket fan though but went to watch this film because it was a patriotic film and I wanted to see how this Indian Football Team was on the rise back in the 50s and early 60s. I was mind blown after seeing this movie. It's so sad that people didn't go to watch this film and the movie got bombed hardly, which didn't deserve to. Sure there are some moments where some audience feel that movie is stretched too long, making it a 3 hours film and everyone constantly smoking. I also agree at this. Some say they are promoting smoking cigarettes. But other than that, this is a top notch film and those who easily got effected by the negative reviews and proceeded not to enjoy this on big screen have lost a great chance. If people can watch Animal for 3 hours and 21 minutes where people do like the film and even the illogical scenes and where nudity is also promoted (not blaming Animal film though), then why not watch a patriotic film which is based on true events?! I would just hope that this film gets promoted again by the makers and get released on the big screens again because this movie, deserves the attention and all the justice. This is the 2nd best team sports adapted film after Gold in my opinion. Thank You.

This was the most unexpected film of this year! A pure movie with a solid start, story and climax. Its brutality peaked really high. Watched this with family, everyone was in shock and awe. I'd recommend everyone to watch this film at least once in their lifetime. A pure brutal action mass film. I hope it gets re-released on theaters and gets a sequel.

One of the best shows I ever watched.

I usually don't write long reviews and often go away by just rating. But this movie was pure class. I mean Vijay Sethupathi and Anurag Kashyap nailed their roles and the story is solid and top notch. It had laughter, serious scenes and an emotional ending. Too good!
