I enjoyed writing this review more than I enjoyed watching the movie. Literally one of the worst storylines ever written, so much so that I feel like they copied a high school students C- creative writing assignment. The characters were super predictable and poorly written, any motivations were extremely forced and go against any logical reasoning eg, a mercenary that quote “has no ethical or legal concerns” loses out on the chance for millions because of her big heart. So many completely unhinged and delusional decisions were made by characters in this movie that the only way you could explain behaviours like running out into danger after finding safety, is that they themselves knew they had plot armour and were invincible. There were zero stakes in this movie and any deaths were completely off screen or were suitable for a small child to watch which does not follow any previous movie. The stakes were so low and the story so poor that they literally had a character survive the biggest threat off screen because it was so crazy and impossible it defied all reasonable explanation and yet was so predictable at the same time.
