Some of the dialogue brought back memories of B movies. The strange father-son duo was God awful. Armored seahorses and sharks?? One of my first thoughts when seeing William Dafoe was to wonder if he cringed watching it and if he regretted participating in it. Then I realized that it must be targeted to the 16 and under crowd. The inclusion of Nicole Kidman and Willem Dafoe didn't do anything to boost the film and it's awkward dialogue pretending to be a plot. Their presence was just another what the f*** moment.
