I hate Clare. I read the book, I love the book, reading the book had me rooting for and emphathizing with and relating to Clare but Clare in the show is f****** awful.
In the show it's as if Clare was never a teenager herself. She's so awful with her daughter, I feel so bad for Rae. I know she loves her kid and doesn't mean to be causing her pain but it's still so painful to watch... I can't stand her.
