A big fan of MIRANDA, and I had no idea that this was a US version of that when I watched the first episode...I just saw that Cheyenne Jackson had a new show and that was reason enough for me to check it out. The first episode was really uneven and felt a bit forced, but a lot of my initial response was due to the shock of realization that it was indeed a US take on MIRANDA. The cast are some of my favorites - Jordan, Kurtz Jackson and of course Bialik - and I hope they can settle into a groove that works. So many British sitcoms just never translated well to US versions - Coupling, The IT Crowd and a god-awful AbFab are a few examples. I'll continue to watch, but I'm not hopeful about this one.
