Maybe I'm not the target audience? I didn't understand the majority of this movie. Everything felt too ambiguous and up to interpretation. Didn't look at ratings before watching it, but I understand why it's rated 2.2.
I did see some people relating this back to the early 2010s creepypasta fandom and I can see some similarities with how far people go to create and find comfort in stories, but as someone who was in that fandom, if that was the message, it was lost on me.
The movie is aesthetically pleasing and the soundtrack is great, Anna Cob did a great job and I would love to see her in better projects.
