I really appreciate this book because it has 10 short stories that are interconnected by students living 10 blocks apart and all are attending the same school. Each winning story is somehow connconnected by a school bus falling from the sky unobserved (no-one saw it., and no-one heard it) and a crossing guard made sure with the safe passage home of her awarded charges. This magical work, finds humor, emotion, wisdom and friendships. Tj and jasmine leave each other friendship flags in each others lockers.:(empty sanck bags, the litter of love, notes that say I've missed you in cheeto dust there best friends anyways because he'd always get her to laugh.
