It’s ok. Not what I was expecting. Geared toward a very young audience. The wokeness really ruins it because the female lead is portrayed as just another super hero archetype. She has all the skills, intuition, strength, knowledge (although she’s a young girl) and the male warriors are a bunch of bumbling overconfident macho men that malign her for being female. Not a reasonable representation of tribal warriors. I did like the historical setting of the film, although we don’t see any Africans, which is an omission that is hard to forgive. Since we’re being so woke, why not an African character? Also, the Predator is just roaming the land aimlessly killing everything in its path, like it has no purpose. That’s relegating the Predator to a monster, which is lazy. With that said, the movie was still entertaining.

Superb. The accounts in the series follow some aspects of the books and borrows events from actual history. The real Queen Charlotte did birth 15 children, with 13 living into adulthood. The real Queen Charlotte and King George were a loving pair although they did not know each other before they were married. So, although this is dramatic fantasy, it is rooted in many historical truths. The young actors are magnificent and the cast at large. We get to know Queen Charlotte and better understand who she is and how she rose to be such a beloved Queen. Other favorites from the Bridgerton series are also featured with some shocking surprises. This is the series that keeps on giving fans a reason to watch.
