I so wanted to like this movie! The director had a great opportunity to bring a fascinating diva back to life for viewers who may not know much about her. Instead, we got endless shots of Angelina Jolie being overly dramatic…but never quite depicting the passionate nature of the amazing Callas. They breeze through a few facts about her life, but I never felt like I really got to know who she was. Sorry but it didn’t work for me…and it was so slow I even fell asleep for a few minutes in the middle. Nice cinematography though.
