I loved this drama, definitely earned a spot in my top 10 fav kdramas. When I first saw the high rating, I thought that it might be biased since Jisoo(young-ro) is from black pink and blinks might have rated it through pink-tinted glasses, but I was wrong. 'Snowdrop' is a must-watch. I loved the storyline, which is the main reason I started watching it. Although this drama was a killer, there were a few shortcomings.
(SPOILERS AHEAD) First of all, it was odd that 60 to 70% of the drama was based in the dorm and we didn't get to see them outside much but the great flow of the story made up for it. Second(might get hate for this), I am a blink and have been for the last two and a half years and Jisoo is my all-time fav female idol. But, I felt that Jisoo's acting was not amazingly-great and I don't blame. This was her first gig and she did a wonderful job. Third, I disliked how I wasn't able to see much of Young-ro's personality and thoughts outside of Soo-ho and the whole situation, which is usually portrayed in kdramas. I would rate this a 4.7/5.
Now, onto what I liked about the drama. First off, I liked the actors. They did an amazing job at portraying their emotions especially Park Sung-woong(Nam Tae-il). Jung Hea-in did an amazing job, as expected, and Jisoo played her character, Young-ro, really well. Second, I LOVED the plot line, something that I'll like to see more in dramas. Third, I nearly cried when I heard Soo-ho's message to Young-ro in the last episode. It really touched my heart.
I would love to see Jisoo act again in some drama or movie.
Thank you for this amazing pice of art!!
