Suits LA seemed like a fresh start, which it is, but it is heavily taking many aspects of the previous show. It is not wrong to do so, but it becomes monotonous at the best, especially for old viewers.
But yes, as its a reboot, I cannot really complain about it.
My main issue with this show however, is the pacing and overall approach to the editing. The pacing felt weird, and too quick for my liking, the editing in this too seemed weak and heavily undermined, also borrowing elements from the previous show. I kind of felt it was rushed too much in the first episode without properly introducing the characters. You are given the gist of the situation and quickly shift to the crisis, and a pretty big crisis at the very first episode (notably of similar odds from the original show season 3-4).
Overall, it was 'Ok' at best, judging from the first episode, I am still keeping my hopes up and waiting to see what unfolds later on.
