Neat subject re Boys liking themselves & their lives: from past research, actually youth attending school spend 87% of their lives with their parents/ guardians; thus they have the most influence on their lives. Great to hear parents bring so positive re their interactions with their boys. QIPC in late 1970 to early 80โs affected how all youth were treated in classroomsโฆ changing the emphasis from competition to assessing skills & abilities of each youth & working with them as individuals with their own set of skills & abilities that education could build on. A lot of private/ church schools were already doing thisโฆ encouraging youth to extend themselves in areas of their choosing. I believe this has influenced parents to accept the choices their children/teens make in regard to what areas they wish to study & they are respected for this. ? Maybe the last 30 years & recent research will show how this has panned out? A subject for another session? L
