Just so shallow.
Characters introduced that add no real value and leave the viewer uninvested. You can blame small number of episodes, but the fact is there are movies with less than half of the run time with more character development.
The anger over appeasing a woke agenda is coming out because this is an abysmal spinoff of a very good show with characters and scenes that don't add anything to the plot or provide any real backstory.
It's like it was written by someone fresh out of high school.
