Game play gets an 8 out of 10. It would be a 10 had it not been for all the crashing, first round triple A standard bugs, no big deal, they'll fix it. I like the improvements in driving dynamic, and didn't dislike the driving missions as much as I did in #2. New guns are great, as well as the characters. Flak being my favorite, followed closely by Moze. It's strange, but to me where the game lacks is story. I didn't care about any of it. Hammerlock/Jacobs being the exception. The rest wasn't at all interesting. The humor also was contrived. It seems as if 2 was really well written, and 3 just kind of "tried" to force the humor. The bad guys are still funny, as well as Claptrap, but by in large I just thought the calipso twins were just annoying.

Pretty damn good if you don't listen to the hype about it. Would have been better had I not had any expectations, that being said it's a really cool concept and story. I was an intense Siphon Filter fan, and it's basically that story continued. I'm not spoiling any more, but if you dug Gabe Logan, you'll like this. The motorcycle riding is really good. Yes there are repetitive side missions, open world "go here, fetch that" "go find ____ kill ____.". The funnest part to me are the hordes. Mobile instant death for the unprepared. My opinion, I would recommend to friend.
