**Heavy Spoilers**
I loved the first terrifier. it didn't take itself too serious and it was the perfect length. bout an hour 20 minutes or so. terrifier two was almost double in length. a whole 2 hours and like 18 minutes & it was far from necessary. i think the creator over shot due to the popularity, that i'm sure he didn't expect to receive from the first one. there were multiple scenes that were very sloppy (obvious scenes that should have been retaken) and some scenes were simply drawn out. how many times do we need to see a character in shock, and just stand there? still not even sure if her friends mom died or not, they kinda skipped over that part when you see the mom walk in on him tearing apart her kid, and then for some reason they choose to graze over the main characters moms death. you also never really hear how the father died, i guess suicide is insinuated? they say the brother wants to dress as the clown but that's a quickly lost plot line bc again, they didn't retouch on it in a deeper level. the super natural demon stuff is whatever, decent enough, but to simply throw that in without any real explanation. i mean seriously, sienna is somehow also a character in this universe with some kind of "powers" and the damn "clown cafe" scene should have been edited out all together. it really added nothing and was like a drawn out ten minute scene with repetitive singing. this film should have never been an entire hour longer than the first. it seriously was not needed, even when i started to enjoy it, it just faded out back into boring and me constantly questioning why the scenes are being soo drawn out. i also found it a bit comical that they don't really touch on the demon girl past her being a victim of his. i just don't understand why some people can see the little demon girl but in the laundromat scene they clear as day show the demon girl as some kind of figment of his imagination but as the movie goes on you realize people can see her?? and that she isn't just invisible?? and again, why involve the dad so much and his drawings if it's going to be as vague as possible. the basics of the dad in this movie are, he's dead but he knew something about art the clown and his daughter sienna being the one to "stop him" (you found out at the end of the movie that he will basically never die, kind of a jason and freddy kind of thing) ? and then they never and i mean not at all, touch on WHY or WHAT sienna has these "powers" or "abilities" for, or how she possess them outside of saying it's necessary to stop art. terrier was a solid 7/10. terrifier 2 was a solid 2/10 no puns intended. only great thing i have to say is props to them for shoveling out garbage, for a quarter of a million dollars, and making triple your profit back. ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
