Overly long and, on the whole, not very interesting. Could have been, at least, a "good" book if he had stuck to writing about Vegas and gambling and the Vegas life style instead of writing a semi-autobiographical, and not very interesting, story about a struggling author who suddenly finds fame.
This book needed to be edited with a battle axe but, unfortunately, at this point in his career, no one was going to tell Puzo what to do. Good bedtime reading because it will certainly put you to sleep.
